SIMMSNews aim is to keep students and lecturers up to date with current university news, including achievements, event updates and sports and give every student the opportunity to get involved and feel a part of St. Marys.
We invite anyone to join our society. If you have a serious interest in journalism or marketing and would like the opportunity to be part of SIMMSNews to explore this interest then feel free to contact our General Editor, Ranako Daley or Co- founder and Director of Marketing and Advertising, David Whitehead to organise a meeting. However, we also offer anyone with a small interest or would just like to support SIMMSNews to join up.
SimmsNews invites all members of St. Mary’s University to show off their literary talent and express their views. Hopefully from reading the first edition and second editions that were released last year, you will notice the diversity not only of the students that have already contributed but also of the topics they’ve touched upon; that’s not to mention staff that have also made telling contributions as well.
